First, the Dennis Hopper film was called "Blood Bath" and it was a wierd, junkie/gay thing filmed in sunny Spain. I wonder if this is how Mr. Hopper spent a lot of his 70's. This really wasn't that bad--drive-in type of stuff, but pretty good. Got 'Hitler's Pope' from the library this afternoon. This guy was probably one of the most influential humans of the 20th century, and he is pretty much unknown. Bought a nice book on forensic medicine, and a nifty paperback about the end of the world (a satire--the scifi, not the ME). Tonight will watch a film that savages the life and times of Southern California, "The New Age". I really liked this guys film,"Rapture".

Another End of The Working Week. Crane trailer fun to Ofallon with a reel of cable and picked up five reels of scrap. Hot and humid, almost. After work, on the Wilco site about the making of the film, " I Just Want To Break Your Heart". I have got to download "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot". Left a posting. Tonight is a "b-movie" film of Dennis Hopper's about religious hooligans on the California coast. Still reeling from the revelations on diaryland.com from last night. The other truckers produced blank stares about the adventures of the 13yr old girl and her adventures with the cheerleading squad. So tired of being the brightest bulb in the 40 watt bin.

Today I heard Orchstra Baubab(sp?) for the first time. This is the 1982 recording of the hottest band in Senegal. This is over the top--dreamy, warm, trippy, fluid guitar and Cuban compositions. This is gonna be on my player for some time to come.
Guess I'll add some more. Christ Am I Old. Listening to John Lennon on the computer. However, The Strokes are on downstairs and I'm hip and old enough to draw the connections to YoLaChaCha,and The Velvet Underpants (and all the New Matt Dylans in between). God, I feel better.
Hello, First time post. Recent convert to IM, and gonna give this a whirl. Although I already keep several diarys and journals. The main one is compiled on a large, clunky manual Adler. It's more like fist fighting than typing, but I've been on the case since Oct of 1984, and then, I make daily entries in the QPB Day Planner. So, all in all, it takes more time to write the shit down, than to live it...almost.
